Built in 1836, the British Methodist Episcopal (BME) Church was laboriously moved from Fallsview to the corner of Peer and Grey Streets in 1890. It is a National Heritage landmark site as an important part of the history of the Underground Railroad to freedom for those who escaped the bonds of slavery.
