One of the many grand old residences that once stood on Victoria Avenue, this house was owned by William Bright who came to Niagara Falls in 1905 when he joined the Niagara Falls Wine Company that was founded by his father. From 1940 to 1958, it was used as the clubhouse for the Canadian Corps Branch 104, the same time that this photo was taken. Today, the Remingtons of Niagara Restaurant occupies this site.
